For as long as we can remember we have had a passion for art and have been busy making furniture. About 10 years ago we were able to make our passion our work. This passion is visible in our collections of handmade and unique products. The art objects and furniture have all acquired a character all their own, thanks to our self-developed work method.
All our lives we have had a passion for art and have been active in the interior industry. We have always been making furniture and special art objects. About 10 years ago we were able to make our passion our work. Paluga Art & Decoration started making paintings (wall panels), later extending this with collections of hand-crafted and decorated real animal skulls, folding screens, various cabinets and other furniture. Through the years we developed our own unique work method. This makes each handmade or hand-crafted product unique. We design and create everything with much passion, precision and skill in our own studio.
Paluga Art & Decoration draws inspiration from weathered materials from nature. We treat the decorative art objects such as animal skulls with exclusive metal pigments, their lustrous sheen mitigated somewhat by with, for instance, a patina or real iron-rusted details, which lends a realistic aging and antique effect. Thanks to the Paluga technique, all designs acquire a character all their own.
We are proud of our work and will gladly show it to others. For this reason, we are regularly found on trade fairs, art fairs and other events, where we present our collections.
