A delicate and time-consuming process
The skulls have been obtained in a responsible, sustainable way and are provided with a certificate. They are well-cleaned and prepared by our suppliers. Next, in our own studio we give them a complete treatment by hand. Preparatory treatments include: smoothing skulls, eliminating flaws and serious damage, make new teeth and fasten them, make horns removable, making a mounting system. The final treatment is a highly delicate and time-consuming process. Centimeter by centimeter the entire skull is treated with the hand and fingertips until the desired result has been achieved. Then follows a long, patient drying process after which other details and patina can be added. With our self- developed techniques we give the skulls an exclusive, luxurious and decorative appearance, resulting in a beautiful object of art.

Decorative animal skulls
An animal skull hung on the wall or over the fireplace, standing on a side table, dresser or console: we see this form of decoration more and more often lately. To create something different from the standard animal skull you seen in every living room, we treat the skulls with special (painting) techniques, creating a unique decorative product. This gives you a real eyecatcher, of high quality and treated for you with care and precision.

Cut out, engraved and treated
The animal skulls are treated by Paluga Art & Decoration with a technique all their own. The skulls are given an extravagant appearance as they are provided with an elegant pattern, cut out and engraved by hand. An engraved longhorn skull is a wonderful dominating showpiece decorating your wall, for instance in your home, office or restaurant. Thanks to the various possibilities it fits in any interior: modern, sturdy, industrial, bohemian, posh or even rural!
