Paluga Art Decoration makes various types of furniture. The handmade and hand- crafted tables, cabinets, dressers, side tables and commodes can be wonderfully combined with the other products we make. Some objects are treated and finished in the same way, so beautiful combinations are created of, for instance, a side table and a folding screen or a table and matching wall panel-painting.
Cabinets and commodes
The cabinets and commodes are all unique designs of Paluga Art & Decoration and are completely handmade. The cabinets are made, for instance, of well-dried massive European pine and oak wood. Special treatments of the wood include brushing, mechanically or manually. This gives a rough and sturdy aging effect. But hand-painted finishing and hand applied patina give a special and subtly mature, antique appearance as well. The pieces of furniture are finished in detail using self-developed techniques. Other models, dimensions and colors than are seen on the website are possible. Cabinets and commodes can be tailor-made completely to your needs.
Tables, coffee tables and side tables
Paluga Art Decoration’s collection of tables is completely handmade. Table tops for dining tables, coffee tables as well as bathroom furniture are made with a kind of cement that is applied manually. After drying the table tops are sanded, polished and eventually provided with a coating. This technique gives the tables a sturdy concrete look or slate- like appearance. The table base can be made of wood with a metal effect or industrial iron-rust appearance.
Benches and dining chairs
For each table, matching benches can be made in the same style and execution as the table. These dining tables can also be combined with comfortable dining chairs upholstered with leather or fabric. We have a couple of models in our showroom.
